Reachable is not the same as standalone

The domain is technically reachable because it returns an HTTP response. Functionally, however, it acts as a forwarding address. That distinction matters: an active domain can point somewhere else without maintaining its former product.

Our redirect guide explains the 301 status in practical terms. It is more precise to say “the PornHits domain currently redirects” than to claim the former site is operating unchanged.

What the response proves

The live response proves the source hostname, redirect status, and destination URL visible at the time of the check. It does not establish a launch date, acquisition, contract, or permanent future plan.

Because changeable infrastructure should not be frozen into an evergreen promise, use the official-access steps whenever you return. A fresh address-bar check is stronger evidence than a cached search snippet.

Status evidence is time-sensitive and should be rechecked.

How this affects old instructions

Legacy how-to pages may mention categories, search, login, or mobile navigation that no longer appear at pornhits.com. Do not enter credentials merely because an old guide expects a login screen.
